Michigan Tech Preschool offers a wonderful environment for learning, playing and growing because of our carig teachers and our parents. Parents are encouraged to participate in their child's preschool experience by:

Provide snacks on a routine basis for a social snack time

Come to the class room early for pick-up to help clean up the classroom and dress children for outside play

Help with playground maintenance when requested

Volunteer in the classroom

Share your talents with the teachers/directors and children

Offer to be a substitute teacher when needed

Serve on the board

Attend parent meeting to vote on any required actions

Share your opinions with teachers/directors and board members

Volunteer with a variety of projects throughout the year
Fundraising Requirements:
Michigan Tech Preschool is a non-profit, cooperative preschool that depends on fundraising to keep tuition low. Parents have several options to fulfill the fundraising requirement:
A. Volunteer 8 hours per semester at fundraising events
B. Raise $100 of profit per semester in fundraising events/sales
C. Opt out of fundraising and pay $100 per semester
D. Serve as a board member
E. Serve as a chairperson for a specific fundraising event
F. Serve as the coordinator for the "Econo Foods: We Care" Program
G. Any combination of A, B, and C
